The line comes from an awkward moment in college. As a sophomore, some freshman was dancing all over me, and I was having none of it. An observant bystander asked if I went to a Catholic HS since I looked like I was heeding a Nun's declaration “to save 10 inches for the Holy Spirit.”

It's a good thing you keep the Holy Spirit so close, cuz you're a liar! I've waited all day to read this post. Kate told me about it at lunch, and I saved it for my dinner dessert. I predict that this story will serve as fodder for the next 20 years. For now, though, I'm off to get my “Give 10 inches to the Holy Spirit” t-shirt.
